The Porch Swing

Carefree, carefree, carefree
A much simpler and stress free time.
Swinging on the porch swing
   in the summer evenings with birds chirping
      wind blowing
      grass rustling
      crickets chirping
      cars going by
      children playing
My serene happy place to read in my childhood.

Is it still there?
Is the grass kept cut?
Are the bushes behind it as neatly trimmed as when my momma did it?
Oh, so peaceful!
